• Primary focus on real estate, finance, and energy as these will be in the areas of highest expected return as well as where the team's investment and management experience lies• Secondary focus on infrastructure and Fast-Moving Consumer goods which are forecasted to be long-term growth markets on the continent
ESG Considerations
• An integrated approach to investing seeking to complement financial returns with high social and environmental impact returns underpinned by good governance• A detailed ESG framework for managing investee companies will ensure alignment across its portfolio with global climate goals and the UN SDGs'
Risk Amelioration
• De-risking returns by investment in a variety of sectors and geographies securing multiple. diverse dividend profiles and rebalancing portfolio on an ongoing basis to manage exposure• Collaborating with a large ecosystem of providers of technical assistance and industry-specific expertise as well as professional (co-)investors to de-risk investment exits through offtake agreements
